My 4 wheeler quit running. Drained the carb bowl and then couldn't even get it to fire again. Cleaned the tank out & pulled the carb. this is what I got out of it. this is the worse case of phasing I've seen yet. from now one no fuel goes in any of my equipment unless it's treated with SEAFOAM.

I let it settle over night and this is what I got..

siphoned the crap off the bottom and put it in a gallon jug. this is how much unburnable crap came out the bottom of the tank.

And people think I am the villian when I try to x'plain this to them! ---The alki crap is destroying everything it goes into, don't have ANY shelf life, and don't produce the power that straight gas does.
There is no way that they can filter all the sediment out of the alki when they make it.

Well there are people intentionally putting water in cans of Gas to get it to phase off faster. then they syphon off the crap and have just gas for their dirt bikes and ATVs.

I put a marine water fuel separater on my tractor named UGLY. I just dump the water out of the filter once in a while. It still gets real gas though....

not an option on small equipment.

all I run in my chainsaws and gas small engines is Avgas 100octane low lead. No carb problems ever, really, its worth every dollar. very stable chemically, doesn't break down over the winter layover. $4.50/gal..going to the airport is a pleasure.

There's a station here some where that sells ethanol free gas I've herd about just haven't found it. The SEAFOAM works great Just have to use it.

I've got 10 Gal of diesel settling now. The cover blew off my Drum and the water snuck in around the pump post. I use diesel for a Big heater I purchased from a Gov surplus auction a few years ago.

Man that is bad. I've never seen anything like that in Australia. I thought that your fuel in the States would've been better than ours but obviously not.

All of our fuel here has gone to crap!---they dump alki. in the gas and bean oil in our diesel fuel and it wrecks our old engines.
