The land owner next to me had an area on his property cleared out and he let me take all the larger trees for firewood grin . Most of the logs are on the small side but free fire wood is free fire wood haha. I needed a way to get the wood out, so i built a log arch out of some extra pallet rack shelving and part of a tractor attachment. I used the part of the frame for a backhoe attachment that goes under the tractor for my arch. It works really well!

Nice job. that should speed up the process of getting the logs where you want them.

Hi speed loggin! --- I like that! The arch will make it a whole bunch easier and faster to get the logs moved. Saves a lot of work.

thats about a 1500lb log.. I'd be apprehensive about a quad trying to stop that going down a hill

Stay on the flat... Wish I either, Quad or log arch when I was dependent on burning wood for heat...

I only have a small hill to go down to where I'm stacking the logs and i can go straight down it. If i had to turn at all or go on any type of angle down the hill, i would be using something much bigger than the quad for the big logs.
