I'll pull the bar and chain off to get a more compact package. UPS pricing is based more on size than weight. I ordered replacement trim rail for the RV and the shipping was $40. the box of rubber trim which weighed much more was $6.75. So the smaller the box. I've been hanging on to these things for a while. couldn't just scrap them.. NOT in my blood. smile

Sigh... a hard way to learn that hands are not hammers! Teeth are also not wire strippers.

Doc

The ratchet on the winch on my car dolly did not engage when I let go and the crank handle spun around and smacked the back of my hand.
My fault for not being more careful and make sure it did prior to fully letting go of it. the car dolly Will Bill equipped with an electric winch soon this will never happen again.

I hope to get out of the splint on the 10th. that's the plan as long as the doc says OK. Can't wait to have two hands again. Been stuck in western NY all week. Came up for My father in laws 80th birthday. Surprised him sister in law came up from Charleston, SC and we came up from VA Beach. Went .to leave Tuesday and the Wife's car wouldn't come out of Park. Toyota has a 140Amp fusible link if it goes bad the car is AFU. had to order it from the dealer. Finally got the van going again yesterday. headed home this morning.
