Virginia calls it MOOSE because of its size and the amount of stuff it will tear up! It weighs 60,000 pounds and has a 573 turbo v-8 diesel motor in it.
Loader has the Drott 4-1 bucket on it. has counterweight on back but no ripper.
Track pads are 18 inches wide.

pretty close to the size and weight of a Cat 977, with a little more power..there's not too many of those old girls left..the most popular was the 175C..it was easier to move around. Is that gonna be your next machine Sonny?

We have owned this one since 1989 ---Did a LOT of diggin with it over the years. Legally it requires a 120,000 pound permit to move it. We did go with a 110,000 one time. really takes a tri axle low-boy to spread the weight, but the last time they hauled it on a tandem 50-tonner with no permit !
Bottom pic is when we had it at our Threshermans club show. --- They want it on display again this year from what they told me at the last meeting, so we see! lol!
I used it here 15 years ago to clean out the trees where my gardens are now.

my crawler (Cat 977K) comes in at 50,000lbs, last time it was moved was when I bought it, we got a "Sunday" permit (none) LOL..the ROPS rollcage was too high on top of the Landoll trailer we moved it on and cleaned house on every cable TV drop on my street..we were trailing black cable all the way down the road..the driver was laughing like hell..what a day that was,not to mention starting up an uncapped Cat 3306 at 10am on a sunday while blocking the street..good times

Just being a good neighbor and making sure the TV cables are all in good condition.

I went back thru there in my pickup 2-3days later and they were all repaired..we were at 14ft high with the rollcage..good thing we didnt get any triplex power cables in the mess, that'd been a fireworks show
