Bought this top-link new,---used it one time and their "cold weld" broke! I re-welded it with my old Lincoln 225 ac stick welder and its still holding. These top-links take a beating so they need good welds to hold! This is the second one that I have had to re-weld. If you buy a new one check the welds! The look pretty, but are just cold surface welds and will not hold up a load!

Signs of a mig weld with no pre-heat. Larger piece sucks the heat from the smaller part...….no penetration and embrittlement.
