We went down there last saturday, Louis Bromfield was a pulitzer prize winning best selling author in the 20s 30s 40s. Joyce and I took oldest daughter and granddaughter to visit. It is now preserved as an Ohio state park and maintained as a working farm within the state park system. The farm was 1000 acres and was pioneered as one of the very first sustainable farming operations. Bromfield hosted the May21,1945 wedding of Humphery Bogart and Lauren Bacall at the farm house. There is a youtube clip of the wedding the house looks identical to this day. If you see the clip look at the iron work on the porch, its still there unchanged, you can go right up and picnic on the same porch today. The barn in the background is still there and still in use.

That sounds like a neat place to visit!--Glad the farm got preserved instead of being demolished like so many of our historical sites. Sounds like it has a lot of interesting history behind it. Wish I could travel. That would be an interesting place to see!
