Needed a light weight portable plasma cutter for cutting holes in stainless tables for Steam wells and Ice wells. For me, the right size hypertherm would be the only way to go.
The one I have now, has cut around 4 mil inches over the last 5-6 years.
The now 15 year old one it replaced, is still going as a backup/hand held cutter.
Plus I can drive 5 miles and get almost all the parts I need and if they are out, it just takes 1-2 days to get them in.
