3 phase is always a problem! --You will find engine power will be way more useful! Lookin good!

Made a little progress yesterday on this too. couldn't really do any work because of school being out and I had the child yesterday. Got the engine mounted and the pump mocked up in place had just enough room for a gas tank under the hood. had just enough room left for a battery too. Modified the cover to allow the engine to stick out a little Works out for the exhaust and Access to the throttle without having to remove the cover. Need to cut a hole for the gas cap. should be around here some where.

Future rotary Phaser converter. Should be big enough for any project I have. I don't see me running anything over 5 HP. This is 71/2.

They say you can use a motor wired into another or sumpin like that to make 3 run on 1, too complicated for me to mess with! I like the looks of this unit! Should be handy when you get it done.

Yeah in most basic terms... get a three phase motor spinning on single phase and it'll create the third phase for another motor. I've done it.

I have a converter to run my mill and lathe. It uses a capacitor and relay to start a idler motor in single phase, then you take the third phase from the motor and use that as the third phase for your equipment.
My lathe is a little too big for the system I have but it works. I use the same converter to feed both, but only one at a time.

I have a couple Static inverters I use for testing compressors. I believe t6hat is how your idler is started.. Rotary inverters are the best. Static inverters create a false phase to start the motor then it runs on single phase. With the rotary the third phase is continuous as long as the idler is running..

I have a static converter that I used for a short time on my steel rule die press. --- They told me that the static converters will eat up the motors if used too long.

Jim send me a PM when you want to build that rotary I have built many and have the tables for the cap sizing and HVAC pot relay part numbers that work..one in my shop is 24yrs old runs great,it starts a 5hp 2-stage recip air comp no sweat.Depending on what you want to run it's about a 50A supply circuit for a 7.5HP

It's not on the top of my list at the moment but that could change any day. I have a half dozen HVAC pot relays on my Van. Butt load of start & run caps too,

Figured out the rear pump support issue Sorry blurry pic I'll see if this piece of MAX track will hold up, if not I'll get a beefier piece. I just happened to have this one.

got some bugs worked out of the Jenny today. Bypass valve was stuck open, Mode select solenoid was stuck open. All the valves in the pump were stuck shut. got it cranked up and did a test run. I need to beef up the bottom of the cabinet. Too much flex. I'm going to take it off the legs and mount it on a trailer, so I'll wait until I set it on the trailer to re-enforce it so I don't have to redo it. The cheap select a size belt stretches' too fast but allowed me to fit it up so I can get the proper belts. found a different gas tank to use that I could mount on the exterior of the cabinet, so I don't have to cut a hole in the top of the cover for a gas cap now. I'll get up some pics tomorrow.

Found a gas tank that would work better... no need to cut a hole in the top now. Ignition switch is installed. Tested ops on the white Plastic wicker like furniture. YOU KNOW THE BURNER AT NIGHT GIVES OFF A ROMANTIC GLOW

MOUNTED on the trailer.. Just enough space in front to mount the LP tank.

I hope to use it for work. Still need to make a mount for the LP tank and I have a hose reel I would like to mount some where too but not sure yet.

Yep works great. think I finally got all the bugs worked out. Still think I need a bigger regulator though. It gets hot But I think the flame is not quite what it should be. went through a few regulators before I got one the would light the big burner. I ordered one on line based on the BTU data on the Jenny but that one didn't work. I have a 2 stage RV regulator on it right now.
