not much sawdust with these band mills! now my old M-14 circular jobber would make a mountain. Blade was 1/4" kerf on it. This band is .043 or so and not much dust with it. I set the mill on the trailer mainly cause it stays level. sitting on the ground its harder to keep it level. also its cleaner on the trailer,---a quick brush under the mill and the floor is clean.

Cutting from the old home place. It is 3.6 acres on the North end of the village. Got a lot of nice tall trees from 8" to 18" and 3 or 4 walnut trees that are close to 48" in dia. Got a LOT of cutting/logging to do in there. Then sis has 4 acres that we been logging some from. Its slow going working by myself.

That's exactly why my sister and everybody in the neighborhood up there in Western New York is fighting the solar farm they're trying to build across the street. Want to pump all that power down to New York City never mind the area that the field is in. I mean it's 60 miles out of Niagara falls and buffalo why send it all to the city? Put windmills on top of them skyscrapers they ought to whoop up some power.
I know a lot about a lot of things BUT I still have a lot to learn. Life is what you make of it. So, why not make a working machine to make it easier.
