been working on sis's ranger, rear axle bearing is bad, I guess, outer end of axle wobbles so figuring shaft was bent I put a different one in and still wobbles, so the only thing left in there is the bearing and seal. FINALLY got them out! Had the pullers BUT no slide hammer so I made a crude one and it did work. Now waiting on ford to get new bearing and seal to put back in it.

Put the new bearing/seal in and damn axles still wobble on the outer end. Tried 2 different axles, 1 known good one so axle shaft NOT bent. Everything is tight on the carrier so I am now at a loss other than take whole axle from the 94 and put it under the 97. I know it was straight.

I know a lot about a lot of things BUT I still have a lot to learn. Life is what you make of it. So, why not make a working machine to make it easier.
