probably a 5.8L 351W small block..not a bad engine at all if it was taken care of

Drove it home today. Ya it says 5.8 on valve cover, has 80,345 miles, motor is clean and dry on the outside. runs smooth and quiet AND hardly ever feel it shift.--- That itself amazes me! And it drives fine. Radio would work if it had an antenna., only got the base as the rest is broke off but it tries to work, so someday I will fix that. Most of the lights work, 3 or 4 of the little bed lights are broke out.
Not sure if the trailer plug will work or not,---- trailer hooked to the diesel and I cant move it yet.

Jack up the trailer And yoke the diesel out of the way. Glad you got a runner.
I know a lot about a lot of things BUT I still have a lot to learn.
Life is what you make of it. So, why not make a working machine to make it easier.

Probably skid the trailer back and turn it around with one of the skidloaders! Need to see if the trailer plug does work or not.
