got a pallet of 9 attachments for the L-12's at the last auction.

good move, get them now while they are all the rage and available..we might see a massive import tax levied on all these machines soon..they might dry up altogether..altho we are here to BUILD machines arent we?

Build is fine BUT buy is cheeeeper! --- Actually the steel would cost 10 times as much as these ready made ones do right now.
These excavators are not bad the way they are but I see some stuff needing to be changed. Biggest problem is the metric shit on them kinda limits what you can do.
I had planned on tearing one of them apart and use the parts to make my own unit but after using the first one found that it only needs a variable flow control in the digger section of the hyd system. Tracks could run twice as fast as they do across the field but its not super bad.
I would rather have steel tracks on them since rubber tracks are a joke on everything they put them on! --- wont stay on! ---- a bitch to put back on when they run off.

On the mimi skidder, ----- they have the 2 bottom rollers set too low and I cant go up my ramps on the dump trailer with it. tracks lock up an catch on the ramp cross angles. Cant run over a 2x board laying on the ground either with it! Kinda sucks but I find myself using it around here more then the big NH L-781! Just so handy, easy to get around with, and fast starting, you can see everything around you since you stand on it. Bad thing is that track motors are jerky as hell on this one!---no way to feather the valves either. Loader section is medium speed and plenty of power, dont have any attachments for it and bucket is quick tach on it too.
