I tried messing with the setup a good bit last night. There are hundreds of options and it's all customizable. It will take a little time to get it working smoothly and looking right.

Big thanks to Jim for making the jump to get us restarted

Thanks to Jim!!-----We have to make this go, it's the last chance! ---- I still feel bad about not being able to get the old site! We were only 1 step away, when all contact was lost with the family! Probably will never know what went down! ANYWAY,--- Time to concentrate on getting this one up! thanks; sonny

Thanks for the effort to get this new site working, I am happy to say that I am number 10# to sign up on both the old and new sites.
Do you need a new mast head/logo designed? I am happy to help if you need one, or I can do a couple and the members can decide on the preferred option.
cheers

Sound's good. Still learning all this stuff. I was going to work on this stuff last night but I really needed to take a break.

Hello everyone,
not sure what it was that caused me to look for MBN again today, but here I am. Just about to venture out into -18C blizzard to see if I can get the little Kubota tractor to start. I'm not hopeful, expecting to have to drain the coolant, warm it up, and see if that's OK. Maybe head out to buy a new engine heater to replace the one I broke investigating it this time last year (which led to the discovery of a failed water pump that I *did* finally replace).

cheers,
Andrew

Weather was super cold (-30C), and -20 or less for a few days straight. I succeeded with the tractor by draining, warming up the coolant, and putting it back in. The we have had a warm day, and then back to cold coming (but not bitterly cold). I do have a heater to put in, but won't have a chance before things get frosty again (unfortunately).

We had another big blast of snow, and then drifting, and more, so I'm glad to have got the tractor, and blower operational for sure. With today's warm I now have an icy driveway though.

And yup, hi guys. I haven't had too many worthy projects, but have had the odd success that I thought might have been fun to share with kindred spirits. So now I can do that again.

I will probably try to get a post together on asking for advice on my engine heater. I think the one that was in there before wasn't really installed in a good way at all. But not tonight. I'm a working stiff again and need to be on the commuter bus at 6:05am whether I like it or not!

cheers,
Andrew

Name is Mike and I'm from Northern Virginia, USA.
Congrats on getting your site up and running!
Just saying Hi!
I'm interested in projects related to building or modifying hydraulics, welding, equipment, electric cargo bikes, sawmills, tractors, old trucks and vans, etc--anything cool!

Interested in learning more about equipment, welding and hydraulics.
