need to modify fh to 3-pt so I can use my 3-pt tiller on the 340 tractor.
one way is to cut prongs off the fh unit and weld the bottom arms to them.
another way would be to cut the latch notch in the inch thick bar and weld the 3-pt balls to it.
third way that might work is to cut the balls off one end of the arms and cut the latch notches in them then add a spacer block to the side of them, since they are half inch thick.
The top link bracket is a piece of cake to make and attach.
Dont need anything like a D-10 Cat. drawbar on this little tractor! Its maybe 30 some hp. and weighs maybe 5 to 6 thousand pound range, and will never be out of first gear with the tiller.

pix. of what I have to work from at this point. --- trying to decide which way to go on this.

decided to cut the balls off one end and cut latch notches in the arms. got lucky on the length too. now to weld spacers to the side of the arms. They slide in and latch perfect, so now on to the top link bracket.

Pix of the adapter. top link bracket is now a part of the tractor but the bottom arms come out.
short spacer bar welded to the arms to make up the total 1" thickness needed . They work easy and should work for the tiller. I dont plan on using the tractor for anything else for a while.
