Been working on the garden fence for the last few days. The deer had it almost torn down completely. Aluminum wire was not the best choice for the fence. I replaced all old fence posts, 1/4" round, with 1.25# × 7' tee posts, there are 17 of them as line posts. The corner posts are still wood, I plan on replacing the old wooden posts with PT posts in the future. I am going to expand the garden in the future and add field fence then Running 17ga galvinized steel wire for now. Removing the old aluminum wire is a pain in the butt. Dan.
