Your right about it being a long way to just cross the street. It is a Prince valve and Prince does have a return policy for defective stuff. Could be that the valve would be fine if used on the loader side of the machine, but I needed a valve for steering and travel control and I had made that clear with the tech support guy that was "helping" me.
