got a load bank to rebuild, its like a big toaster with resistance elements used to apply load to a generator for testing..several of the load elements melted last time we used it here,made for a nice fireworks show..the elements get old and heat related fatigue sets in..-old timers like Sonny know about that for sure- the company Avtron who made it is out of business,so we have to size up other coils and have them made up to repair it..just another 4week job tying up the shop floor..spent another day doing maintenance on forklifts,greasing and filter/lube changes,dumped used oil off at the recycler.and got the all-important paperwork to go with that for an audit trail if need be..got a 5ft stump to grind next week if the weather is good..that oughta be an adventure
