I've always used 3/4" EMT conduit to enclose my trailer wiring back from the coupler area to past the front of the bed..then use the black flexible split wiring loom from there,its easy to use and break out wires for side clearance lights..Had a friend once that snapchained his dog to a trailer in his backyard..the dog ripped out and chewed the WHOLE wiring harness of the trailer..Ive heard of groundhogs liking to chew on wiring as well..a little 7.62 FMJ wiill take care of that small irritation
