Still alive here in VB. 34 here this morning 1st time in a week above freezing at 6 AM. Sooo much going on here. just haven't had time to get on here. Have issue with my work van consuming coolant and oil. No signs of leaks any where, so I was testing for exhaust gasses in the radiator. didn't have to wait & see if the test fluid changed color. gasses coming out of the radiator at any speed above an idle were extreme enough to bubble the fluid in the tester.
355000 original engine.. Time for a head job.... going to suck pulling the engine out of the Van. I do have another LS 6L to put in it so it's not down for too long. machine shops here are backed up enough ALL the time that it could take up to a month to get the heads back. too long to go with out my van so I'm sticking salvage engine in while I go through the one that's in it now.
